Some quick information I want to get out to all of you…
I am aware that the guestbook feature, comments features, register features, and possible some other plug-ins haven’t been working as intended. I’ve ran some tests, and have decided the best solution here will be to rebuild this wordpress site from the ground up. So, here’s what’s coming up this week:
1. Comments will be re-enabled; several anti-spam measures will also be implemented (I’ve already tested them out) to cut down on trash/spam trash.
2. Visitors will NOT be required to sign-up to romantictorment.com in order to leave a comment.
3. Visitors will be able to utilize http://en.gravatar.com/ when leaving a comment, and Twitter will also be integrated.
4. Star Ratings (already added, but will be reinstalled w/ I rebuild the site) – This feature will now enable a visitor/user to rate my material on a scale 1-5, and help provide me excellent feedback based on your opinions!
5. Expanded categories (already added) – if you direct your mouse to the Poetry or Journal navigational area above, you will now see it broken down further in an effort to organize and seperate my old material from the new.
In closing, a major reason why I’ve neglected this site has been due to my inability to pull you, the reader, into the conversation and/or get comment feedback because I was too concern w/ spamming issues, rather than hunt down ways to combat it. Suffice to say, now that I have an opportunity to reach out to you, share, and in turn, let you share, I’m comfortable with getting more involved with this project once again, and look forward to hearing from so many of you soon!
