Tears Of Silver

She cries in tears of silver,
she cries without a light.
She sits alone in slumber,
ready to give up the fight.
The rose she held was dying,
she could not mend it back.
She wanted it to last forever;
we want things we often lack.
Her tears gleamed within the silvery moon,
the stars danced across her face.
She wanted him again forever,
and alas the true lovers sin post haste.
To that which when one let’s go,
and the other does as well.
To have one come back,
and realize all has gone to hell.
‘Tis a painful experience,
for the mind and heart.
I wish I could still tell her,
that we shall never part.
However, at last, all things change
like the waves in a sea,
and thus do I continue my walk
into my self misery.
