Romantic Torment

Welcome to my romantic torment; welcome to my home. Here you will find my personal collection of poetry, essays, journal entries, photography, and more! The nature of my artistic expression can be described as macabre, dark, Gothic, and emotional in tone, subject, and style. Inspired by gothic fetish, vampire interest, and dark-minded writers such as E. A. Poe, T. S. Eliot, and countless other influences. Also, it is my intention to include fiction and erotica short-stories as well.

I explore the dark side of human emotion willingly in an on-going attempt to better understand how it influences and molds our human behavior. Also, it offers me an artistic alternative to expressing emotion, feelings, and thoughts.

You will only find the cold-hearted truth here. My intention is to not sugar coat anything, but rather offer the reader a pure un-tainted, un-edited, and un-cut version of my life. It is my hope that this rare honesty will help others - with their most forbidden, unspoken thoughts we’d dare not even utter to our best friend(s).

While I intend to explore the darker sides to life, remember this: it is not so much about the darkness, or the light - in all things, so much as it is about finding that perfect blend of balance that brings us peace, comfort, and clarity. As well, a deviantly satiated soul, body, and mind go along way to maintaining a healthy life. So, indulge in your darkest pleasures from time to time, but bare in mind that all things are best enjoyed in good moderation.

My soul, mind, and heart shall know no shadow in which to hide from the truth here. I stand exposed and naked before the world. Hopefully, you will discover that your not as alone as you might think. Then again, perhaps it’s me truly seeking others to re-enforce the idea that I’m not alone. Regardless, come explore and share a little romantic torment with me.
